performance.png est une performance vidéo qui explore les stéréotypes culturels à travers le corps comme objet de désir et de consommation. Le corps—exotique, érotique et diffusé par l’objectif miroir de l’appareil—se dilate et se multiplie, comme s’il retouchait son propre reflet. Il s’agit de l’exagération de soi et de la représentation du sujet réinventée par l’industrie du selfie et la mise en scène de l’altérité racialisée. performance.png is a video performance that examines cultural stereotypes through the body as an object of desire and consumption. The body—exotic, erotic and broadcast by the mirror-eye of the device—expands and multiplies, as if editing its own reflection. It is about magnification of the self and representation of the subject reinvented by the selfie industry and the depiction of racialized otherness.
