Antoine Vogler présente une reconstruction ou une capsule temporelle d’un bar gai fictif à partir d’artéfacts d’anciens établissement du Village conservés, entre autre, par Daniel Lamontagne, ancien plombier du K.O.X, et Robert Tessier, bénévole aux Archives gaies du Québec depuis 25 ans. Les artéfacts sont accompanés de photographes montrant des fragments de corps d’hommes gais. Ces fragments photographiques et matériels rappellent que ces objets autrefois faisant partie d’un ensemble, sont désormais dispersés et démembrés.
Antoine Vogler presents a reconstruction or time capsule of an imagined gay bar using artifacts from former Village establishments, preserved by Daniel Lamontagne, former plumber at K.O.X., and Robert Tessier, a long-time volunteer at the Quebec Gay Archives, among others. The artifacts are accompanied by photographs showing fragments of gay men’s bodies. These photographic fragments and materials serve as a reminder that these objects, once part of a whole, are now scattered and dismembered.
